Gutted!!! What would have been our first gig in a year - this Sunday in Battersea Park (hadn't posted as we were waiting for the set time) has been cancelled, not by the organizers Music4Children, who have worked hard to put on these lovely events but by the 'hosts' the Gondola Cafe who have pathetically blamed it on the weather (which is actually forecast to be warm and dry all day)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!! 10 years ago today we did our first gig in The Arches, for Planet Angel. Thanks to everyone for supporting us on our journey over the years - we hope you will continue to do so xxx
All really looking forward to playing on Cat's Cradle at Sunrise Festival this weekend, especially after a fabulous rehearsal tonight. A little rocky round the edges on the one new track - Heya - but I'm sure it'll be fun. We're on at 10.45pm Sunday
First time we've been on stage with Sandra for a year, first time we've done Wildflower with live violin for about 2 and the first time we've ever done Passion with live mandolin - all to look forward to.
Sean and Pete will also be DJing - Saturday midday, Tribe of Frog and Gaia Chill Sunday 5am. Pete and Myo will also be performing with Nathassia Devine on Cat's Cradle Saturday 6.30pm
Tickets still available as far as we know
Why the f*** is it impossible to find a single shop selling jaw harps that tells you what pitch they are?! If these were toy shops I might expect that but this is a pitched musical instrument being sold in music shops and you would have that at least some of them might have had the sense to realize that was a pertinent point. If anyone knows any shops in London that sell them please let me know as we urgently need to replace a broken F# one.
